Scott's award-winning first book - BEATING THE ODDS: Ten Smart Steps to Small Business Success - was published by the American Management Association. BEATING THE ODDS introduced the "Microgenesis ^TM" system of early-stage business development. It was an Executive Book Club selection and was designated one of the best business books of the year.

Scott's second book - UNLEASHING THE HIDDEN POWER OF YOUR GROWING BUSINESS - introduced the "Macrofruition"^TM process to maximize bottom-line profitability for existing businesses.

During the last decade, Scott was inducted into Who's Who In U.S. Executives and International Who's Who in Engineering. He is also listed in the Yearbook of Experts, Authorities and Spokespersons, as well as the 23rd edition of Who's Who in the Midwest. He is a frequent talk-show guest discussing secrets of business success. Scott and his books have been quoted in national publications, including INC., USA Today and The Wall Street Journal.
